So, today is this blog's 1st anniversary. I knew it was coming pretty soon, and when I checked just now, I was really surprised to see it's exactly today... because of all my trips out of town recently, I almost missed it. But here we are... 281th post, I missed about 80 days, which is a lot.
Anyway a year has already passed, it's July again, summer again, biking time again, and the tv tower is still here. Let's see where this year will lead us.

I had the occasion to taste a new beer, Pardal... well a beer always tastes good when drank on the grass under the sun, surrounded by friends and in front of a stage where good music is played :)

another Sunday, another park

Today we decided to have our let's-celebrate-Spring picnic in another parc... actually we like to have a little wine with our food and alcohol in Petrin is forbidden, whereas still allowed on Letna :)

As Honza pointed out, we had a fabulous sunny day yesterday... well actually it's been like that the whole week, but yesterday evening was my first chance to enjoy it. The beergardens were packed, the temperature lovely...

last day

To fully enjoy the last day of summer, as we all know it is (30°C and huge sun all day!), I went back to my second favourite outdoor swimming pool this afternoon. I actually didn't go there at all this year, because it's pretty far from where I live now -it takes 40-50 minutes from door to door... but it was great today!

24th of July, 17°c, raining. Since I just came back from a place where the weather was better than that, and nice enough to let me enjoy my holidays, I don't care too much, but I know that I won't take it so well in a few days if it goes on. So, as a kind of talisman, I post another picture of this great outdoor swimming pool in Vrsovice, taken last year, when July was up to our expectations.
